Federal Employee Appeals

Federal employment law provides many protections to federal employees. But the existence of these laws does not guarantee a just outcome. If you have suffered wrongdoing prohibited by federal employment law, you need the help of an experienced attorney.

At the Federal Employment Law and Litigation Center  at Melville Johnson, P.C., we energetically defend the rights of federal employees in all administrative and judicial venues.

EEOC

We have significant experience litigating with the various Federal agencies’ Equal Employment Offices (EEO). If you already have an adverse agency determination, a report of investigation, or a final agency decision, we can represent you throughout the EEOC process and if required, in the federal courts. If you have already received a decision from the EEOC, our lawyers can assist you with your appeal to the full Board, to the U.S. district court, the circuit court of appeals or even the U.S. Supreme Court.

Whether you have a claim based on race, color, creed, age, disability, gender or religion, we have significant experience in appeals to both the EEOC and to U.S. district courts. Our expertise in Federal employee appeals law can be an invaluable asset to a Federal employee who needs to file an appeal at either the EEOC level or at any court level. We are ready to assist federal employees with their appeals in order to preserve their rights and eliminate wrongful actions that adversely affect income.

MSPB

We also have experience and success at litigation at the Merit Systems Protection Board (MSPB). If you already have an adverse determination by the MSPB, we can represent you through the appeal process from the full Board to the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals and all the way to the United States Supreme Court.

If you have an adverse employment decision appealable to the MSPB, or an appeal from either the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) or the Office of Special Counsel (OSC), our attorneys can assist you.

If you have been improperly demoted, including a step or grade change, suspended, reprimanded or terminated, The Federal Employment Law and Litigation Center has significant experience representing employees before the MSPB. Our expertise in federal employment law can be an invaluable asset to a federal employee who needs to file an appeal before the MSPB. Our firm is ready to assist federal employees in order to preserve their rights and eliminate wrongful actions that adversely affect income.
